After It's Baroque to my Ears and Curly Music, the Macke-Bornauw Duo presents Le Bal Imaginaire, a folk ball infused with Baroque dances. The show is not only on stage, it comes alive on the dance floor, where all the elements of a timeless, convivial, and intergenerational folk ball come together. Anna Romani will guide dancers, from beginners to enthusiasts, through this imaginary repertoire where circassian circles take on a hint of a gavotte, bourrées echo the style of a passepied, and waltzes evoke a touch of a minuet...
