Franchise Fun Facts About Spider Man Homecoming

While on his bike after attending a Marvel retreat, comic book writer Brian Michael Bendis wondered what would happen if Peter Parker died and gave birth to Miles. Along with artist Sara Pichelli, Brian created the 13-year old young boy, son of an African-American father and Puerto Rican mother.

This is perhaps one of the most exciting things about the new Spider-Man. Aside from web-shooting, sticking to objects, incredible strength, and an amazing spider sense; Miles can turn invisible and perform Venom strike, an electrical power that he can deliver with a touch.

Spider-Man risks his life to save any and everyone that he can and with that comes a lot of fear. This is something he can’t allow his enemies to see. Hence the Iconic mask and the quips. He knows that someone he needs to save is having the worst day of their life, so he needs to mask his fear.

Until recently, he’s been struggling with money for a while. When approached by Iron Man and Captain America to join the Avengers, all Stark had to say was “we have money.” to which Spider-Man broke down in tears saying “Oh, thank God.”

During Barrack Obama’s run for President, he mentioned his fondness for Spider-Man and named the wall-crawler his favorite superhero.

Marvel comics returned the sicbo compliment and put the President in a Spider-Man issue where Peter Parker attends the inauguration of the 44th president.
